This policy explains how Fottal LLC (“Fottal”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information through fottal.com and the software we provide, including the Fottal app and booking line used by hair salons to take and confirm appointments.

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address and phone number.
• Appointment details given to a salon’s booking line: your first name, callback number, the service you asked for, and the day and time you want.
• Information you submit through forms on this website, such as applications and contact requests.
• Basic technical information, such as browser type and pages visited, needed to run the website.

How we use it

• To pass your appointment request to the salon you called, so it can book you.
• To send you text messages about that appointment (see below).
• To respond to your inquiries and run and improve our services.

Text messages (SMS)

When you request an appointment with a salon that uses Fottal and give your phone number, you agree to receive text messages about that appointment: confirmations, changes, and a link to confirm or decline. These are not marketing messages. Message frequency varies with your bookings. Message and data rates may apply.

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers are shared only with the salon you contacted and with the service providers we use to deliver messages, solely to provide the service.

Sharing

We share personal information only with the salon you are booking with, with service providers that help us operate (such as hosting, telephony and messaging providers) under obligations to protect it, or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal obligations, and protect it with reasonable technical and organizational safeguards.

Your choices

You may ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing growth@fottal.com.
